when confuse hits you, confuse dont cancel a current casting time, only prevents new ones, so if you see that a hunter just appered and casting confuse you, you can cast one last thing while he is casting.

i know you cant know what skill is he casting, but worth the shot.

The biggest thing for any character in any war or situation is to pay attention to the world around them. That alone will save your ass. However, for a conjurer this is a pretty good post.
