Chilko's own words, although I don't know if that policy has been changed recently. Formerly, restoring deleted characters was only available to premium players, as it had to be done manually from a backup database - man hours basically.

I have had a character restored, this was long before I became a premium user. I also have never heard of this "policy".

it was mentioned by someone from NGD, when silent thoughts chars was deleted iirc.
also the same was stated, when my clanmate deleted his chars when drunk, but that was very long time ago. the statement then was that restoring accidental deletions is nonpremium service.

no need to jump the gun though, as in both cases the chars were restored regardless of premium status. but i can understand why someone would be annoyed to investigate, what happened, and make necessary alterations in database, if the user wouldnt generate direct income and shared his/her password.

anyway, don't share the password. (of course, there are means to obtain it regardless of user in some cases)

well guys if it can help noone had my password , or i hope so, then i think that who did that was someone with strange hacking methods or somethilg like that.... but the question is, why me? :'(

mmh how long does it take to start investigation?
We send tikets too....but still no responce....anyone know what else we can do?

Hi,

I already answered your PM, but I guess giving the same answer here won't hurt.

Because of the rather complex investigation that such an issue as deleted characters or a stolen account takes, the response time is one to two weeks maximum.

To prevent sad and annoying cases like this, do never give your password away. Sadly enough you cannot trust everyone on the internet, so please do not fall for tricks. When you notice your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password right away to deny him/her further access.

NGD never responds to issues like this on the forum, only when you send a ticket. This is because the ticket system gives a much clearer organised list of issues players have and often at the forum you'll end up with discussions led by emotion and several not involved parties talking along.

So, that is why I have to close this thread.
