I will not move from here and i know i live in a great country. I do not think US is great in any way. EU is alot better than US it terms of freedom and stuff.
Home is where you feel nice and loved. There is no great or worse countries.
TY for this video. It was nice.

You know sometimes i feel angry for how many people left my country. We was 9mil 20 years ago and now we are around 7. More than a million bulgarians emigrated to US, Canada and other countries. And they still do.
Every damn year US sucks tons of people from other countries with that green card lottery. Well it is not lottery ofc. They choose who to go there.
Greatest country, freedom and stuff. They just wash people's minds. I have saw this already 20 years ago.

I get the impression you don't like your country much? :/ Please correct me if I'm wrong btw.
Since I've now managed to visit the US I don't see it as much different from the UK, in my eyes anyways. They have there shit to deal with like we do, I can honestly say I have no desire to move there..Canada would be cool though.
About the video - I really admired his speech, it was thought provoking..I think many people certainly back in the 80s when I was kid thought USA was the be all and end all. I agree with ieti, home is where the heart is and I'm still searching for mine.

Nop.
America is a continent. North and Sout America are "Subcontinents"
USA is a country whith no own name, who stoled the denomination of the whole continent.
It reflex, in my opinion, the wrong idea that they "are" the continent.
And in not so "widely" accepted.
In argentina, American, is related to the continent, and "yanqui" ( yanquee) or "Estados Unidos" ( United States ) to refer the country.

America is a landmass. If you were to consider this a continent then Afro-Eurasia would be a continent too, no?
The most widely accepted continents are: North america, South america, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antarctica. The "United States of America" is very commonly known as just "America" in English.
