The monotony of levelling up...
Hey,
I've really enjoyed playing Regnum, up to a few levels ago. I've got up to L23 Syrtis, and for about the last 5 levels I've had about 1 quest per level, then just have to run to near Raeria to level up... over and over again. Am I missing anything? Is there anything else to do in game? It's lost of a lot of it's challenge, I can even do a lot of impossible baddies, and by the times quests come round telling me to kill things they're normally always at 'normal' or below. It's just way too easy!
Are there any more worlds going to open up? Any big, hard quests round the corner? Spending 3 hours getting 30k XPs killing normal diff baddies (because they're the best difficulty/XP payoff) is getting boring.
I think the game has great potential, but feel like I could just be missing something at the moment?

leveling is somewhat of a pain, admittedly. however, in a few levels, you will be able to start the elemental rune quests. to level quicker, you might find working with a large party may be of benefit, especially as a conju. in addition, experience scrolls will also help, not to mention, you help support the game as well.
at any rate, good luck and i hope you continue to grind it out. the war zone is worth it.

There's no doubt that it would be easier if levels required fewer points.
But that would take away from the worth of being at a high level.

If done correctly you can get 100k minimum per hour.... My record was 220k per hour....

I don't begrudge how long it takes, just the simplicity of it
I was thinking today... maybe there could be swarms of whatever (wasps, say). When you attack 1, they all come for you - would be loads more fun to manage, only possible with a party, and across a big range of levels. Just add that extra edge, and be something realyl tricky and needing a large group of people who can work well together to do. I guess ngd have a zillion suggestions to work through tho
How do you make that much XP per hour? I pretty much never have to stop with my conju but I bet I'm still only doing 15k tops.
Will I be of use in the war effort at L30 then? Ive been there twice and got pwnd within 5 secs of seeing someone else both times.
Think I'm on the rune quests now, do they get good?

There should definitely something be done the hard levelling. Somewhere at the suggestion forum is a suggestion about adding different skills like mining. If you would get XP for mining or creating defence structures in WZ you would have some variation and your training would have some sense.

The trick is three things. One use Xp booster. Two hunt in larger because you are after the group xp over the xp for killing MOBs. Three use area spells like mana regen, greater healing or any spell that help allies (You are looking for area 10 spells here. The more allies you help the more xp you get.). That way you get xp even if you do not attack a MOB.
As a conjuror doing this will cripple you in the war but you will level up very fast.

Haha I didn't realize by a big group you meant A BIG GROUP... wandered into the warzone today, found a massive group and was getting more group XP than i was getting regular XP before per baddie (about 250), just for healing! it suddenly all makes sense
