Arrow Windows Firewall (Microsoft Corporation).

Go to Start > Run and type in the command line: "firewall.cpl".

In the Windows Firewall settings windows, make sure that "Don't allow exceptions" isn't selected.

In the "Exceptions" tab, go to "Add Program...".

After clicking in "Add Program", we can choose between installed programs. We'll go search them manually, going to "Browse". Then we'll search the file: "RegnumOnline.exe" that should be in the folder: "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\" and click on "Open".

Then, we repeat the same procedure for the file: "ROClientGame.exe" which is located in the folder: "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\LiveServer\".

This way, "RegnumOnline.exe" and "ROClientGame.exe" should appear in the exceptions list.

Arrow Kaspersky Internet Security (Kaspersky Lab).

In the system tray, right click the "Kaspersky Internet Security" icon and select the "Settings" option.

Among the sections, choose "Firewall", then go to "Settings" in the Filtration system, and in the exception list window, choose "Add..." and then "Explore". In the file browsing menu, look for the file: RegnumOnline.exe located at "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online".

Now, a new window appears to set some rules to the chosen file. We type an appropriate name to the rule and accept. Then, we repeat this step, but clicking the "TCP" in the yellow circle, this will change it to "UDP". Having this done we will get two rules, one for TCP and the other for UDP.

When the rules are done, do not forget to select the "Do not monitor application files modification", for Regnum Online to update its files properly.

Arrow Zone Alarm Security (Zone Labs).

In the system tray, right click the "Zone Alarm Security" icon and select "Restore ZoneAlarm Control Center".

Inside the user interface, go to the "Program Control" section and then to the "Programs" tab as it is indicated with the red circles.

In this section, we'll click on "Add" and search for the file: RegnumOnline.exe from the folder: "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\RegnumOnline" and then we click in "Open".

Now, having the file added to the list, we proceed to establish allowances by left clicking the blue question marks and choosing the "Allow" option. Remember to do it with all four question marks.

Now you have to repeat the procedure for the file: ROClientGame.exe, located at the folder "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\LiveServer".

In the system tray, right click the "Norton Internet Security" icon and select "Open Norton Protection Center".

In the main window, go to "Options" and select "Norton Internet Security".

Inside the "Norton Internet Security Options" window, go to "Program Control" where we must click the "Add" button. Search for the file RegnumOnline.exe located at "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online" and accept.

After that, a new window will open (like the one pictured below) in which we will select "Allow" and then OK.

Repeat the same procedure for the file: ROClientGame.exe located at "C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\LiveServer"

In the system tray, we right-click the AVG Free 8.0 icon and select "Open AVG User Interface".

In the settings interface, we go to the toolbar and click in "Tools" and then in "Advanced settings...".

Inside the Advanced AVG Settings window, we go to the "Exceptions" section, we select "Use excludes for the Resident Shield" and then click in "Add Path".

Arrow McAfee Internet Security (McAfee Incorporated).

Double click the McAfee Security Center icon in the system tray.

In the user interface, go to "Internet & Network" and then to "Configure".

Inside the window, some options will appear, the ones which we must check to be set as in the picture below. In the "Firewall protection is enabled" section we click in "Advanced".

In "Program Permissions" list, we search for Regnum Online's two executables. If they aren't there, we'll add them manually with the "Add Allowed Program" button. Those files would be:

C:\Program files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\RegnumOnline.exe
C:\Program files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\LiveServer\ROClientGame.exe

And if they were, we procede to select each one of them and click in "Allow Access".

Then, we apply, accept and close the SecurityCenter.
