I got this email yesterday talking about how 'combat has been disabled' on CI.

I logged out while still on CI. I logged back in just now, and this is how I was greeted;







Ignoring the huge douchebaggery of attacking someone who just logged on to a supposedly combat-free zone, and ignoring the (once again) teaming up efforts of the other two realms....

Combat disabled? Not so much.

Yep we exsperienced that to along with people camping the teleport dock i guess its the only way they can get there rp.

Personally I don't mind so much the boat camping, we all knew that would happen. My problem is unless I buff ao1 first before teleporting on horus, 9 times out of 10 I would try to go on the island at least yesterday I would be lucky to live more then 2 seconds. The funniest part of it to me personally is, some of those doing it are the same players who post here complaining about population imbalance and syrtis "farming".



Edit: And also, to me it doesn't matter so much, but to those newer or low lvl players who venture out just to visit the island that is closed most of the year, under the impression that it a combat free zone to be greeted in such a way just will ruin the game experience for them.

Combat should be disabled on the island as its ment to be, it was for some of the first day (after Ignis camping it for an hour) then was mainly working but everytime local chat went down combat was re-enabled, some players took this as a chance to attack anyone and everyone.

Yesterday I know Syrtis were camping it in the morning but not much else, NGD realy needs to fix this.

NGD, please disable combat on Central Island. In addition, count the entire island as a save for RP purposes - minus 20 for each kill. That way if the code fails or if a glitch is found the stupidity will be kept to a minimum.

Being able to talk to players from the other realms is an intriguing idea .... teleporting into a rolling battle? Not so much.

Still broken, logged on and was killed by Ignis, great christmas spirit guys, also I couldent click the boat to get off the island. :/

yeah thats how it was last night

went to go on central island and 8 Ignis camping the boats so i got a team to kick them out

Still broken, yes, but you don't click the boat to get off the island, you have to use the teleports

well i was camping the island because syrtis was using it as a means of transportation to get to samal quickly when they die, and i wasnt about to let them get a free ticket back, so you abuse the island and you get abused.
