Nothing should be changed with the skill, just move to Knights.
Barbs should get a new skill ( but not a stronger one).
And maybe the skill should get changed only about the effect, Make it to block the powers you got on yourself for some time.
100% chance is crazy.. dont change it.good as it was.

I simply don't agree with any of you!!!

With the introduction of Warmasterupdate, we have gone SO FAR beyond the point that "fixing" 1 spell wouldn't do shit in terms balancing.

3 out 6 classes is more or less "screwed" out of fortfights (<-- the only fights that counts towards Wm quest)

Warlocks: slow casting, slow working DoT.s.. enemy is dead before "casting" is done (still spells go into CD tho)
Conjurer: slow casting!! Save a realmfriend? pfft.. with some "auraspam" they can put up a few points towards quest tho (but not nearly as satisfying gameplay conjus used to be)
Hunters: NEVER had a role in fortfights!! But hey, invest those sorely needed points in actual dmg, to go hunt with a pet again!! (Since Warmaster status isn't for your class anyway apparently )

I suggest a complete overhaul in the balance department!! And when that's done, we can come back and discuss single spells then!!

Ps: just a lil bit on topic: my biggest issue with MS isn't the fact that barbs have access to it.... but rather 100% dmg + remove buffs. If simply the dmg part would be decreased ppl would have to THINK before they cast it ( if it's worth low dmg vs. high)

I constantly hear the phrase "MS noob" in game... Well, if you are dumb enough NOT to skill it = who's the what now?

I like the original idea. It's not prefect but I suppose as good as we could get considering the state of the game.

MS like several other spells is far too easy to get at 60 in combo with many other buffs. the excess power points and discipline points made sure of that.

MS for knight has been suggested before but you shouldn't suggest that without actually suggesting a replacement for MS on the blunt tree and actually removing a spell from the Knight tree. That is going to be a bit tough. Well maybe we can dump rigorous prep. but then practically every Knight would have MS. Potentially that could be even worse than barbs having it.
In a different dispensation I would have actually liked to see non shared trees and spells and actually have the spells crafted specifically for each class. This won't happen though. In such a case you could have similar spells but the components of the spells are different for the subclass.

Removing the 100% damage is an interesting idea. It hurts Knight more than barbs but at least you would be able to cast it while under defensive stance. The applications of that could be interesting.

MS only for knights will havy unbalance the game.A buffed barb yes makes insane dmg but ,buffs for barbarian are the real dmg.A unbuffed barbarian is a knight naked ,without armor.
If knight will unbuff the barbarian ,a barbarian will deal around 400-500 on knight with havy armor,wille a knight will be able to do around 1000k dmg +they at the moment will have 2 knocks wille a barb will have 1 knock.

I like this change, so long as Mindsquash is knight only. As posted before, a 100% mindsquash chance in the hands of barbs is way too deadly. At least with knights using it with barbs around them it'll require barbs to pay attention to what they're hitting.

But, Kmdk, its not about a barb and knight pvp...
Its a old idea to move the ms from barbs, and a barb can kill a knight after got Ms btw..
its about that barbs get too easy kills after MS works.. and the idea is to make Ms non-damage spell is also nice one.

Just move MS to knights tree, in comparison move acrobatics to hunters only
